Sunday Polo at Beverly Equestrian

If you are looking for the perfect weekend plan that captures the true essence of the Virginia Piedmont, look no further than our neighboring community of The Plains.
Sunday Polo at Beverly Equestrian is back for the summer season, and it is a must-attend event for anyone looking to experience world-class sport in a gorgeous countryside setting.

Whether you’re a long-time polo fan or completely new to the sport, Beverly Equestrian offers an incredible, welcoming field-side atmosphere that makes for an unforgettable summer Sunday afternoon.

Here is what you need to know to plan your visit:

Mark Your Calendars: Upcoming August Dates

The summer is flying by, but the action isn’t slowing down. Be sure to mark your calendars for the next upcoming matches:

  • Sunday, August 2
  • Sunday, August 9

Event Details

  • Where: Beverly Equestrian (7120 Beverly Lane, The Plains, VA 20198)
  • Timeline: Gates open at 4:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to set up and relax. The fast-paced matches typically get underway between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM.
  • Admission: General admission is completely free! Spectators are welcome to park on the shaded berm right next to the field for a relaxed view of the match.
  • Elevate Your Experience: If you are celebrating a special occasion or just want an upgraded view, individual VIP Deck Day Passes (starting at $110) and Day Passes for Two are available to purchase online, giving you access to the hosted hospitality deck.

Tailgating & Attire Tips

Tailgating is a huge part of the tradition at Beverly. Pack up a picnic basket, load up the cooler, and bring along some low lawn chairs or a picnic blanket to stretch out on the grass.

When it comes to dress code, think chic but casual "elevated garden party" style. Summer dresses, khakis, and linens are perfect—just make sure to leave the high heels at your rental, as you'll be walking on grass footing!

Friendly Reminder:
Four-legged family members are welcome to join the fun, but dogs must remain securely on a leash at all times. Because polo is a very fast-paced sport, please make sure to stay behind the barriers and keep at least 40 feet back from the field boards for your safety.

We love helping our tenants discover everything that makes living in Fauquier County so unique. Grab your favorite picnic foods, enjoy the summer vibes, and we'll see you out at the field!

Enjoy the matches,

The Team at Alls Real Estate
