Ghost Walk Tours in Warrenton, VA

Ghost Walk Tours in Old town Warrenton, VA

The air is getting crisp, the leaves are starting to turn, and a spooky feeling is settling over the historic streets of Warrenton. If you're looking for a unique way to celebrate the Halloween season, you won't want to miss the Annual Ghost Walks on Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th.

Step back in time as our guides lead you on a one-hour journey through Warrenton's past, sharing chilling tales of paranormal happenings and frightening occurrences. From eerie encounters to unexplained phenomena, you'll hear the stories that have haunted this town for generations. It's a perfect opportunity to learn about the town’s history through a different, much spookier, lens.

In an exclusive interview, Pamela Courtney, Museum Director at the Fauquier History Museum at The Old Jail, shared her excitement for the event. "The ghost walks are a favorite tradition here," she said. "It's a fantastic way to engage with the community and share some of the darker, more mysterious aspects of our local history."

Tour Details

Tours begin at 7:00 PM and depart every 15 minutes, with the final tour starting at 8:45 PM. With a total of eight tours each evening, you have plenty of options to fit the walk into your schedule. Just be sure to reserve your spot early—these tours are very popular and are known to sell out fast.

The cost is $17.85 per person, and due to the nature of the stories, the tours are not recommended for young children. Gather your friends, family, or a brave date for a night of frights and fun.

Are you ready to walk the streets and see if you can feel the presence of Warrenton's past residents? Grab your tickets and find out!
