Kick Off 2026 with Plant Power & Self-Care for Kids and Teens at our local Libraries!

The holiday rush has settled, the decorations are packed away, and we are settling into the rhythm of a new year. January is the perfect time to hit the reset button and focus on wellness—and that isn't just for adults!
This winter, give your kids a chance to slow down, get their hands dirty (in a good way!), and discover the incredible properties of nature.
We are thrilled to share and invite the community to a very special, hands-on event at the Bealeton branch library and John Marshall Branch library.
Utilize the Power of Plants
In this unique workshop, participants will explore the soothing and restorative power of plants. This isn't just about sitting and listening; it's about creating.
Attendees will learn about using botanicals for self-care and, best of all, they will get to build and take home their very own "healing garden." It’s a wonderful way to bring a little bit of vibrant life indoors during the grey winter months.
A Special Partnership with the libraries and Oak Spring Garden Foundation.
This event is presented in partnership with the
Oak Spring Garden Foundation. They will be providing an expert presentation to guide the participants, as well as all the supplies needed to create their gardens and self-care products.
