Welcome to Know it Alls,

your weekly guide to tips and tricks for Alls Real Estate, Community Events, and Local Warrenton, VA Businesses.

Learn More about Warrenton's Farmer's Market.

At Alls Real Estate, we talk a lot about "curb appeal" and "market value," but when it comes down to it, the true value of a home is the community that surrounds it. One of our favorite ways to experience the heart and soul of Fauquier County is by spending a Saturday morning at the
Warrenton Farmers Market.

While most people head to the market for the crispest apples or the freshest eggs, we’ve found that the market is about much more than just what’s on your grocery list. It’s the town’s premier social event—a "front porch" for the entire community.

More Than Just a Grocery Run

In an age of self-checkout lanes and grocery delivery apps, the Warrenton Farmers Market offers something a screen can’t: a handshake and a conversation. When you buy a loaf of sourdough or a jar of local honey, you aren’t just a customer; you’re a neighbor.

For those of us at Alls Real Estate, seeing the familiar faces of clients, friends, and local business owners at the corner of 5th and Lee Street is a weekly highlight. It’s where you catch up on local news, meet your neighbor’s new puppy, and find out about upcoming town events. It’s the kind of place where "how are you?" isn't just a politeness—it's the start of a ten-minute catch-up.

Health for Your Family and Your Local Economy

The health benefits of the market are twofold. First, there is the obvious: nutrition. The produce you find here—from seasonal Virginia greens to sun-ripened tomatoes—is often picked less than 24 hours before it hits your basket.

Second, there is the health of our local economy. By shopping at the Warrenton Farmers Market, you are directly supporting the families who maintain our beautiful Fauquier County landscape. You are keeping the "green" in our countryside and ensuring that our local agricultural heritage thrives for the next generation of homeowners.

Make It a Weekly Tradition

Whether you are a lifelong resident or someone we’ve recently helped move into your dream home, we encourage you to make the market a part of your weekend routine.

  • Saturday Market: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (April through November) at Ashby and Lee Streets in Old Town.

Before you go, be sure to check out the Warrenton Farmers Market Facebook Page to see which vendors will be there and what’s currently in season.

At Alls Real Estate, we don't just sell houses; we sell a lifestyle. And in Warrenton, that lifestyle is best served fresh, local, and with a side of friendly conversation. See you at the market!
