Ditch the Rideshare Apps:

Your $0.50 Guide to an Evening in Downtown Warrenton

We’ve all been there. You’re enjoying a handcrafted cocktail or a local brew at one of our fantastic downtown spots, the conversation is flowing, and you realize it’s time to head home. Then you open your phone and see the dreaded "surge pricing" on your rideshare app.

At Alls Real Estate, we’re all about smart living and community safety. That’s why we want to remind you of one of Warrenton’s best-kept secrets for a safe night out: The Circuit Rider.

Why Take the Circuit Rider?

Whether you're visiting a "sanctuary" like Raven Hair for a late-afternoon refresh or heading straight to the bars, the Circuit Rider is the most cost-effective way to navigate the town.

  • The Price is Right: It’s only $0.50 each way. You read that right, you can get to your destination and back for less than the price of a pack of gum.
  • Late Service: On weekdays, the bus runs until 7:30 PM. It’s the perfect solution for an early "Happy Hour" or a pre-dinner drink without the stress of parking or expensive Ubers.
  • Safety First: We always say it’s better to be safe than sorry. Taking the bus ensures you aren't getting behind the wheel after a drink, and it keeps our Warrenton streets safer for everyone.

The Game Plan: A Perfect Downtown Evening

  1. The Arrival: Hop on the Blue, Gold, or Green routes. Most weekday circuits run until 7:30 PM, making it easy to get downtown just as the evening energy starts to pick up.
  2. The Experience: Enjoy the local flair of Main Street. Grab a drink, support our local bartenders, and soak in the historic atmosphere.
  3. The Rules of the Road: Remember, the bus is a community space! Keep it classy no eating or drinking on the bus, use your headphones for music, and if you need to make a call, keep it "Warrenton quiet."

Know Before You Go (2026 Schedule)

Planning your night out? Keep these times and holidays in mind to ensure you aren't left waiting on the curb:

  • Weekdays: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Upcoming 2026 Holiday Closures: * Memorial Day (May 25th)
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day (Sept 7th)

For real-time route info or questions, you can contact Virginia Regional Transit at (540) 341-3464.

Supporting our local transit is just another way we keep our neighborhood thriving. Next time you’re heading out for an evening cocktail, leave the car keys at home and bring two quarters instead.
