Child Nutrition, Inc. is a private non-profit organization dedicated to a beautiful mission: ensuring that children in family childcare settings have access to healthful, nutritious meals.
Operating as a sponsor for the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), CNI acts as a bridge between federal resources and local childcare providers. Their work ensures that the "little ones" in our community get the fuel they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
What they do for the community:
- Reimbursement Assistance: They help childcare providers receive federal funding to offset the cost of serving nutritious meals.
- Professional Training: CNI provides mandatory and elective training in meal planning, nutrition standards, and food safety.
